About HyroxVault
HyroxVault is an independent, editorially-driven resource for Hyrox athletes. We publish race guides, training programs, gear reviews, and supplement recommendations based on real training, testing, and competition data — not press releases.
Who runs HyroxVault
HyroxVault is run by a small editorial team of Hyrox racers, certified strength coaches, and sports-nutrition writers based in Europe. We compete in Hyrox events, train athletes preparing for them, and read the peer-reviewed research on the supplements and gear we recommend. Every article is reviewed by at least one editor with lived racing experience before it goes live.

How we review products
We cover four product categories: supplements, running shoes, training gear, and race-day accessories. For every product recommendation you see on HyroxVault, our review process is:
- Shortlist — we start with every product that's widely used by Hyrox age-group athletes and Pro division competitors, then narrow to a shortlist based on independent test data, published research, and third-party certifications (NSF Certified for Sport, Informed Sport).
- Hands-on testing — shoes are tested across a minimum of 50km of mixed running and station work before a rating is published. Supplements are trialled for at least 4 weeks of structured training. Gear is used across a full training block and a simulated or real race.
- Value check — we compare price-per-serving (supplements) or price-per-km-of-durability (shoes) against the top 3 alternatives in the category. "Editor's Pick" is not the most expensive option — it's the best value for a working Hyrox athlete.
- Editor review — every review is read end-to-end by a second editor for accuracy, affiliate-disclosure compliance, and tone.
Editorial independence
No brand has veto power over our reviews. We do not accept paid placements, sponsored rankings, or "pay-to-play" inclusion in our buying guides. Brands sometimes send us free product to test; this is disclosed at the top of the relevant article and does not change our scoring methodology. A product that fails our testing is either ranked lower or excluded entirely — regardless of who sent it or whether we have an affiliate relationship with the seller.
Affiliate disclosure
HyroxVault earns commissions when readers buy through some of our outbound
links. In the United States and Canada, we participate in the Amazon Services
LLC Associates Program (tracking tag hyroxvault-20). In Europe and
the UK we work with retailers including Gymgrossisten, Myprotein, and direct
brand affiliate programs. Commissions are paid by the retailer at no extra cost
to you and do not influence product rankings — see our testing methodology
above.

Corrections and fact-checking
We check every factual claim — race distances, station standards, product specs, commission rates, supplement dosages — against primary sources before publishing. If you spot an error, tell us at corrections@hyroxvault.com and we'll fix it within 48 hours. Material corrections are logged at the bottom of the affected article with a date and a one-line description.

Training and supplementation advice on HyroxVault is general information, not personalised medical guidance. Hyrox is a demanding race.
